Young people walking into Leinster House

Thirty young people from Foróige and Comhairle na nÓg came to Leinster House today for an engagement with the Committee on Environment and Climate Action.

The young people met with committee members in the Seanad chamber where they were warmly welcomed by Cathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann, Senator Mark Daly. The engagement opened with an address by the Cathaoirleach of the Joint Committee, Deputy Brian Leddin, who recognised the importance of hearing from young people on the climate challenges ahead given the impact on their future lives.
