Madam, – Aidan Cranny (February 2nd) asked if it is true that “Seanad members can earn €850 per day or approximately €221,000 per 260-day year (assuming they are paid holiday time as public servants)”. For clarification a member of the Seanad earns a salary of €65,621 per annum. – Yours, etc,
