I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of former TD and Senator Myles Staunton.
Myles was a true parliamentarian, public representative and servant of both the State and County Mayo. He carried out his parliamentary duties over a twelve year career in the Oireachtas with great foresight and dignity.
My thoughts are with his family at this sad time.
