Housing Committee to receive Second Quarterly Progress Report on Action Plan on Housing & Homelessness

Officials from the Department of Housing, Planning, Community and Local Government will be in attendance to brief the Committee. Committee Chairperson, Maria Bailey TD, said: “Minister Coveney published the Second Quarterly Progress Report on the implementation of ‘Rebuilding Ireland – Action Plan for Housing and Homelessness’ last month. The report examines the progress made to date by Departments, Agencies, Local Authorities and Approved Housing Bodies, in collaboration with industry and housing sector stakeholders. Committee members will seek information on the supply problem; assistance for first-time buyers; rent pressure zones and emergency accommodation.”

The meeting will take place in Committee Room 1, Leinster House at 2pm tomorrow, Thursday, 09 March 2017.
