Finance Committee to hear from National Development Finance Agency in relation to Carillion collapse

The Committee on Finance, Public Expenditure and Reform, and Taoiseach will meet with Gerard Cahillane, Head of Finance and Operations at the National Development Finance Agency, in relation to the Carillion issue on Tuesday, 3 July 2018.

Committee Chairman John McGuinness TD said: “Carillion, a major provider of public buildings and services in the UK, was contracted to build five schools and one further education college in Ireland under a Public Private Partnership deal reached by the Department of Education and the National Development Finance Agency. The Committee will be keen to receive an update on the issue from Gerard Cahillane in his role as head of finance and operations with the agency.”

The meeting will start at 1.30pm in Committee Room 3, Leinster House and proceedings can be followed here.
