The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) will meet tomorrow, Thursday, March 7 to discuss issues relating to the Oversight, Management and Implementation of Capital Projects, and the role of Public Officials on State Boards.
The Committee will engage with Officials from the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform (DPER), and the Office of Government Procurement (OGP).
PAC Chairman, Seán Fleming TD, said: “Tomorrow’s meeting is a valuable opportunity for the PAC to hear the Accounting Officer in the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform in relation to the financial challenges as they relate to large Capital Projects.
“The Committee looks forward to hearing about the systems and procedures employed by DPER to provide oversight, management and control in relation to these. The topic is a timely one of great public interest. We look forward to this engagement.”
