Professor Peter Clinch, Chair of the National Competitiveness Council, will appear before the Committee.

Committee Chair, Colm Brophy TD, said, “The overall figures in this report suggest that Ireland is maintaining a cost competitive position but a number of key competitiveness indicators have been rising over recent years and Committee Members will wish to discuss these and other issues with Professor Clinch in order to ascertain the impact on the competitiveness of firms and of Ireland as a place in which to do business.”
