The Joint Committee on the Implementation of the Good Friday Agreement will meet tomorrow to discuss ‘Towards a new common chapter’, a project by the Centre for Cross Border Studies.
The following witnesses will appear before the Committee:
• Dr. Anthony Soares, Acting Director of the Centre for Cross Border Studies;
• Tara Farrell, Deputy CEO, Longford Women's Link;
• Louise Coyle, Director, Northern Ireland Rural Women's Network;
• Eilidh Dickson, Policy and Parliamentary Manager, Engender.
Committee Chair, Seán Crowe TD said, “At tomorrow’s meeting, the Committee will discuss ‘Towards a New Common Chapter’ in the context of cooperation at the border and wider North-South cooperation. The witnesses will brief the Committee on how we can all work to encourage cross-border and cross-jurisdictional cooperation at grassroots community level.”
