The Committee on Budgetary Oversight will tomorrow continue its discussions around matters related to Budget 2020 when it meets in Committee Room 4 at 2pm.
Following on from last Wednesday’s appearance by the Minister forFinance and Public Expenditure and Reform, Mr Paschal Donohoe T.D, the topic of Health Expenditure will be discussed on Tuesday.
Officials from Dept. of Health, Mr. Colm Desmond, Assistant Secretary and Representatives from Health Service Executive (HSE), Mr. Stephen Mulvany, Chief Finance Officer are due before the committee on this occasion.
With less than three months to go until Budget 2020 is revealed on October 8, the Committee on Budgetary Oversight, chaired by Colm Brophy TD, is keen to hear a Briefing by department officials on the important issue of the control of health expenditure.
