Joint Committee on Transport and Communications to meet with Chairperson Designate of Transport Infrastructure Ireland

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 1 December, with the Chairperson Designate of Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII), Gareth Llewellyn.

Speaking ahead of the meeting at 1.30pm in Committee Room 2 of Leinster House, Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Kieran O’Donnell said: “The Committee welcomes this opportunity to meet with Mr Llewellyn to discuss his strategic priorities for TII.

“We are particularly interested in discussing some of the major current and future road and public transport schemes, including the M20 Cork-Limerick motorway and the MetroLink and Luas extensions.

The Joint Committee on Transport and Communications has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.

The meeting in Committee Room 2 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
