Committee on Budgetary Oversight to meet to discuss the recent cost-of-living measures introduced

Speaking ahead of the meeting Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Neasa Hourigan said “the Committee looks forward to the opportunity to engage with the Departments of Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform in order to gain greater insight into the decisions and actions that have been recently implemented to address the significant pressures that the increasing cost-of-living are having on people. We will continue to examine if there is anything additional that can be introduced to alleviate this current issue”.
