Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage to resume discussions on challenges facing delivery of housing with Land Development Agency and Housing Agency

The Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, 17 June, to resume discussions on the challenges facing the delivery of housing in Ireland.

The meeting at 3pm in Committee Room 3 of Leinster House will hear from representatives from the Land Development Agency and the Housing Agency.

Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Micheál Carrigy said: “The Committee continues its examination of the challenges around the delivery of housing in Ireland with this engagement with two bodies who have a critical role tackling the housing emergency, the Land Development Agency and the Housing Agency.

"Members look forward to hearing the analysis of both bodies and the solutions they believe can support and accelerate the delivery of social, affordable, private and rental accommodation in the years ahead.”

The Joint Committee on Housing, Local Government and Heritage has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.

The meeting in Committee Room 3 can be viewed live on Oireachtas TV.
