The Joint Committee on Education and Youth will meet tomorrow, Wednesday, 18 June, at 12:45pm in Committee Room 4 of Leinster House with the Minister for Education and Youth, Helen McEntee TD to discuss policy priorities and related matters.
Committee Cathaoirleach Deputy Cathal Crowe said: “The Committee welcomes this early opportunity to engage with Minister McEntee to discuss her policy priorities for the Department of Education and Youth.
“Key matters the Committee looks forwarding to discussing with the Minister include Special Education, the DEIS programme, the School Building Programme, teacher retention, therapeutic supports for children, and how education disadvantage is being addressed by the Department.”
The Joint Committee on Education on Youth has 14 Members, nine from the Dáil and five from the Seanad.
