This scheme was rolled out to replace our short-stay visa waiver programme which was introduced in 2011...and which allows nationals from a number of countries to travel from the UK to Ireland using their UK visa...It allows a person to visit Northern Ireland or the UK and Ireland on a single visa....Republic and come down to Clare to visit the Cliffs of Moher or Loop Head on that Irish short-stay visa...It allows them travel back up to Northern Ireland or vice versa , as they do not need a re-entry visa

protection of this legislation to categories of foreign workers, including those who are here on a visa...The question of visas and work permits may not directly be in the purlieu of the Minister of State....the way in which foreigners are treated such as having to queue from 5 o'clock in the morning to get visas...multiples of what Irish citizens pay for university education, are required to queue earlier to have their visas

I applaud the Minister on his initiative in respect of the visa waiver programme as it applies to those...It raised the issue of those who were visiting Ireland on Chinese visas but who could not access Northern...addressed this to a large degree and that those coming from the 15 designated countries who receive a UK visa...However, the speaker raised the issue of people who were given specific visas for Ireland.

I note the clarification offered in the Bill on the subject of visas, which pre-clear visitors, but do...I am happy to see the Minister has made it clear that visas are used solely for pre-clearance and the...status of "visa-free" countries will continue unless the migrant's visit extends over three months,...at which point he or she will require a visa.
