asked the Taoiseach the current rates of pay of forestry workers, agricultural workers and roadworkers in the form of a reply to a question of 13th July, 1972.
Written Answers. - Wage Rates.
The following statement gives for each county the present (a) basic weekly time rate of wages paid to forestry workers for a 40-hour week (b) weekly rates of wages, excluding service pay, paid by county councils to road labourers for a 40-hour-week and (c) minimum weekly rates payable to adult male agricultural workers under the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) Order, 1974. These rates apply to a 44-hour week in the period November to February inclusive and to a 50-hour week during the remainder of the year. In the case of forestry workers an incentive bonus is payable in addition to the basic weekly time rates.
