Healthcare Infrastructure Provision

Deputy Pádraig Mac Lochlainn asked the Minister for Health if he will commence the process of upgrading Letterkenny University Hospital to a Model 4 hospital, considering the very large number of inpatients that the hospital caters for each year and the distances that patients from Donegal have to travel to avail of appointments and procedures that are only available from the nearest Model 4 hospitals, hundreds of miles away.
