Vol. 82 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Meath Estates.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that the Fagan estate at Donore, Hill of Down, County Meath, which contains 160 acres, and was inspected by the Land Commission for the purpose of division amongst uneconomic holders, is now about to be sold, and if he will take steps to have this estate taken over and divided amongst the local uneconomic holders in this area.

The Land Commission have under consideration the question of resuming the holding of the late Patrick Fagan and it is hoped to have the necessary notices published at an early date.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state when it is proposed to vest the holdings on the Wilkinson estate at Gaskinstown, Duleek, County Meath, which was divided over eight years ago.

It is unlikely that the lands on the Wilkinson estate will be vested in the allottees for some time, as the Land Commission staff will be engaged on duties of a more urgent nature during the present emergency.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the delay in vesting the holdings on the Bomfort estate at Drumlargan, Kilcock, County Meath, which was divided over 14 years ago, and if he will state when it is expected to have the said holdings so vested.

The Land Commission have not, up to the present, been in a position to vest the parcels of land on the Bomfort estate, County Meath, in the allottees, except in one case, and in view of the present emergency, it is not possible to state when vesting in the allottees will be effected.
