Vol. 369 No. 8

Written Answers. - Blackrock (Dublin) Garda Station.

131.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware of the substandard conditions in the Blackrock Garda station, County Dublin; and the action, if any, he intends taking in the matter.

I am informed that a condition of overcrowding exists at this Garda station and to solve this problem it will be necessary to build a new station on an alternative site. The Commissioners of Public Works are at present awaiting a report from the Department of Justice as to the suitability of a site which has become available in the Blackrock area. It is not possible to extend the existing station.
