Vol. 1 No. 18

CEISTEANNA—QUESTIONS. - OLD AGE PENSIONS.

TOMAS O CONAILL

To ask the Minister for Finance whether he is aware that no Old Age Pensions have been paid in Oughterard district, Co. Galway, for the past three months, and whether, in view of the very great hardship which the stoppage of pension payments entails, he will take steps to remedy this regrettable state of affairs by making arrangements for the payment of pensions in that district.

Inquiry is being made into this matter, and the representations in the second part of the question will be considered when the necessary information is available.
