Vol. 37 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Vesting of Sweeney Estate, Castlerea.

asked the Minister for Lands and Fisheries if he will say when the Sweeney estate, Cloonroan, Castlerea, will be vested in the tenants.

The prescribed schedules of particulars of the lands on the estate of Walter Bourke Sweeney and others comprising seven holdings in the townland of Cloon-roughan, barony of Castlerea, County Roscommon, have been lodged in the Land Commission under the Land Act, 1923, and it is expected that the holdings will be vested in the Land Commission and the tenants placed on an annuity basis following on the enactment of the Land Bill now before the Oireachtas.
