Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep (Amendment) Bill, 1935—First Stage.
Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Slaughter of Cattle and Sheep Act, 1934, in divers respects and, in particular, to impose a levy on cattle and sheep slaughtered elsewhere than in registered premises and to amend Part IX of the said Act by substituting the supply of beef by means of a sale at a prescribed price for the supply of beef by means of distribution free of charge.—(Minister for agriculture.)
