Vol. 65 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Health Insurance Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether representations have been made to him by the Unified Society that in order to maintain the solvency of the health insurance scheme it will be necessary to increase the contributions payable in respect of insured persons or alternatively to reduce the inadequate scales of benefit now provided under the scheme; and, if so, whether he has reached any decision in regard to such representations.

No representations of the nature indicated in the question have been received from the Unified Society.
