Vol. 100 No. 17

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Flooding of Castlemaine-Inch Road.

asked the Minister for Lands if he is aware that a breach in the embankment on the holding of Miss H. Burke (Godfrey estate), Annagh, Castlemaine, County Kerry, is causing heavy flooding on the road from Castlemaine to Inch; and if he will arrange for an inspection of the damage with a view to having it repaired.

The Land Commission have no responsibility for the repair or maintenance of the embankments on the holding of Miss Hannah Burke in the townland of Annagh on the Godfrey estate, Record No. E.C. 3363. The question of the execution of repairs to these works has, however, been under consideration by the Land Commission, who have decided to take no action in the matter.
