Vol. 178 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - West Cork Employment and Emergency Schemes.

8.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will allocate grants under the Employment and Emergency Schemes Vote to towns in West Cork during the current year similar to those made last year.

Grants of £450 have been allocated to each of the urban districts of Clonakilty and Skibbereen, and £200 each to the non-urbanised towns of Bantry and Dunmanway. The amount in each case is related to the number of registered unemployed in the area in question.
