Vol. 179 No. 5

Order of Business.

Business, as set out on the Order Paper, will be taken in the following order: 3, 4, 6, 25 (Motion for Discharge), 15, 7, 16, 8, 17, 9, 18, 10, 19, 11, 20, 2, and 21. Private Deputies' Business will be taken at 9 p.m.

Can the Taoiseach give us any indication, in view of our taking No. 25 to-day for the purpose of discharge, when he contemplates the new Bill will be available?

No. It has been drafted in preliminary form at the moment. The Deputy appreciates that, with a complicated technical measure of that kind, it is not possible to say when the work of drafting will be ready.

May we expect it will be taken some time before the Long Adjournment?

I think so, yes.
