Vol. 207 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Terenure (Dublin) Sewers.

24.

Mr. Ryan

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that persons who purchased houses at College Drive, Terenure, over seven years ago have not had the sewers servicing their residences taken in charge by the Dublin County Council, although there is no outstanding work remaining to be done on them; and whether, as the refusal of the Council to take over the sewers is unfair to the ratepaying occupiers, he will have the sewers taken in charge immediately.

I am informed by Dublin County Council that the College Drive sewers will not be taken over until all construction work has been completed on the full private development served by the same drainage system.
