asked the Minister for Education if he is aware of the need of a new national school in the Bishopstown area of Cork City, having regard to the growth in population in the area; and what steps he proposes to take to meet this need.

Sketch plans for new boys and girls schools in the Bishopstown area have been prepared by the Reverend Manager's architect. These plans are under examination at present in the Office of Public Works.
