Returns to Writs: Clare and Wicklow. - Introduction of New Members.

The Clerk of the Dáil made the following announcement:
I gcomhlíonadh Bhuan-Ordú 138 de Bhuan-Orduithe Dháil Éireann i dtaobh Gnó Phoiblí, tá orm a chraoladh go ndearnadh, sna Corrthoghcháin a bhí ann an 14 Márta, 1968, de chionn an Teachta Liam Ó Murchú agus an Teachta Séamus Eabhróid d'fháil bháis, na comhaltaí seo a leanas a thoghadh don Dáil:
Dáilcheantar an Chláir ...Sailbheastar Baróid.
Dáilcheantar Chill Mhantáin... Gothfraidh Mac Toimín.
In compliance with Standing Order 138 of the Standing Orders of Dáil Éireann relative to Public Business, I have to announce that at the Bye-Elections held on 14th March, 1968, consequent on the deaths of Deputies William Murphy and James Everett, the following members have been elected to the Dáil:
Constituency of Clare...Sylvester Barrett.
Constituency of Wicklow...Godfrey Timmins.
Deputy Sylvester Barrett, the new Member for the Constituency of Clare, was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Taoiseach (Mr. Carty).
Deputy Godfrey Timmins, the new Member for the Constituency of Wicklow, was introduced to the Ceann Comhairle by Deputy L'Estrange.
