asked the Minister for Finance what his proposals are with regard to the reconstruction, repair and preservation of Selskar Abbey, Wexford.

The Commissioners of Public Works are not empowered under existing legislation to spend money on restoration works at National Monuments. With regard to any works of repair and preservation that may be necessary, these will be carried out at St. Selskar's Abbey, Wexford, as soon as present commitments allow.
