Vol. 251 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - National Agricultural Council

118.

andMr. Donnellan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries whether the National Agricultural Council is still in existence; if so, the date of its last meeting; if not, the date on which it was formally dissolved; and if he will state the total cost involved in its operations during the period of its existence.

As indicated by my predecessor in reply to a question by Deputy Flanagan on 23rd October, 1969, the members of the National Agricultural Council were appointed for a two-year period which expired in 1969. The last meeting of the council was on 22nd August, 1968.

The total cost of operating the council during the period of its existence was £3,019.
