Erin Foods has examined in depth in recent months various courses which might help to put the food processing project on an economic footing. The boards of Comhlucht Siúicre Éireann Teoranta and Erin Foods have submitted proposals to my Department in relation to the future of the project. These proposals are at present under examination and a full statement will be made at an early date.
