asked the Minister for Education if the Advisory Council on Post Primary Education have finished their survey of post primary needs in County Dublin; if so, how many new schools will be required; and when it is proposed to provide them.

The advisory council were set up in 1966 to advise on the post primary accommodation needs of the greater Dublin area. Due to the rapid expansion and continuous development of this area the council's function are a continuing one. To date 28,000 places have been provided on foot of recommendations from the council.
