Criminal Procedure (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 1973: First Stage.

Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to amend the Criminal Procedure Act, 1967, and to provide for the extension or legal aid to all proceedings for indictable offences.

The title of this Bill, as it appears on the Order Paper, reads "Criminal Procedure, (Amendment) Bill, 1973". It should read "Criminal Procedure (Amendment) (No. 2) Bill, 1973", as there is a Bill before the Seanad which is entitled "Criminal Procedure (Amendment) Bill, 1973."

Second Stage ordered for Wednesday, 18th July, 1973.
