The Brothers of Charity who are the management authorities of Kilcornan Training Centre, recently put proposals to my Department which involve a change in the scope of the extension scheme envisaged at the centre. My Department will be discussing the matter further with the Order and the Western Health Board in the coming weeks, after which a decision on whether the scheme can go ahead this year will be taken in the light of the capital resources available to me.
