My Department has offered Louth County Council a grant towards the cost of providing flood lighting at Clogherhead Pier.
As regards improvements to the pier and harbour, I understand that the Office of Public Works are awaiting the results of the hydraulic model investigation before they will be in a position to furnish an engineering report to my Department. The results of the model investigation are expected towards the end of this year.
Until I receive the engineering report from the Office of Public Works, I cannot give details of any improvements which may be carried out or give an indication when the improvements at the harbour may be commenced.
