I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that bills of quantities relating to the proposed new national school at Kilmore-Erris, County Mayo, are in course of preparation. When the bills have been completed, the question of allowing the project to proceed to the invitation of tenders will be considered.
It is not possible to state when building work may commence.

asked the Minister for Education when it is proposed to commence work on Kilmaine national school, County Mayo.
My Department have sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the proposed new national school at Kilmaine, County Mayo. The long-term accommodation requirements for this school are under review by my Department at present. When a decision has been taken on this matter the Commissioners of Public Works will be authorised to prepare working drawings.
It is not possible to state at this stage when building work may commence.

My Department have sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the proposed new national school at Bangor Erris, County Mayo. The further planning arrangements, which include the preparation of working drawings, are a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works.

My Department have sanctioned various grants towards the cost of improvements to Mulranny national school, County Mayo, in recent years. Payment of these grants is a matter for the Commissioners of Public Works.

My Department will be writing at an early date to the chairman of the Convent of Mercy national school, Achill Sound, County Mayo, concerning the preparation of sketch-plans for the proposed extension.
