Vol. 348 No. 8

Written Answers. - Ballyshannon (Donegal) Water Pollution.

381.

asked the Minister for the Environment who will be responsible for bearing the costs of clearing up the pollution arising from the recent contamination of the water supply in Ballyshannon, County Donegal.

I understand that Donegal County Council are considering legal action in relation to the pollution incident referred to. In the circumstances I do not consider it appropriate for me to comment on the matter.
