A total of £183,700 was allocated to seven projects in County Laois under my Department's Teamwork scheme in 1985. Because by the large number of projects approved for assistance in 1985 which have continued into the present year, very heavy financial commitments under the scheme have been carried over to 1986. It has been possible, therefore, to approve grants for only a limited number of new projects in 1986. As the money available for new projects has now been allocated, it will not be possible to consider further applications under Teamwork this year.
