asked the Minister for Health the number of staff in each grade per 100 patients in each psychiatric hospital in the State.

The information requested by the Deputy is shown on the following tabular statement. The staffing figures include people working in community psychiatric services. Under the blueprint for the development "Planning for the Future" the emphasis is on community-based centres for the provision of psychiatric services.
