My Department has not arranged any such transfers during the past six months. A total of 346 clerical staff from various Departments are included on transfer lists for my Department's offices in County Mayo and most of these have also applied for transfers to other Government offices in the county. It is not possible to estimate the number of transfers which may take place during the next three months. There are no vacancies requiring to be filled at present.
