From the information furnished to the Department by the employer in question it would appear that the redundancy lump sum which he paid to the employee concerned was less than the statutory amount due. My Department has written to the employer about this matter and when it receives confirmation that the full statutory lump sum has been paid to the employee it will arrange without delay for payment to the employer of the appropriate rebate.
