Vol. 368 No. 10

Written Answers. - Bottled Gas.

135.

asked the Minister for Labour if he has any plans to introduce regulations regarding the storage of bottled gas by way of permit or licence; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Draft regulations are being prepared by my Department on the loading, unloading and storage of liquefied petroleum gas. It is intended that the regulations will be framework in character and will require that liquefied petroleum gas, including bottled gas, be stored in accordance with appropriate codes of practice.
