asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange to have repairs carried out to the road along the Grand Canal Bank at Killeska, Tullamore, County Offaly, as this road is in a very bad condition, and is used by ten families who have land and houses on the road.

The Commissioners of Public Works have no immediate plans to carry out repairs to the road in question which is not a public road but a canal towpath. However, they would have no objection to the road users carrying our repairs, as they have done previously, or to Offaly County Council carrying out such repairs.
