Payment of the first instalment of the mortgage subsidy will not arise until 12 months loan repayments have been made and the applicant submits to the Department the appropriate claim form, certified by the lending agency.

On receipt of notification of completion of outstanding works notified to the applicant an inspection will be arranged with a view to payment of the grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Louth.
A new house grant cannot be paid in this case as the floor area of the house is in excess of the limit of 125sq. m. (1,346 sq. ft.) specified by the Housing Regulations, 1980.
