Vol. 383 No. 3

Written Answers. - Bantry (Cork) Hospital.

136.

asked the Minister for Health if there are plans to convert Bantry County General Hospital, County Cork to geriatric care; and if he will make a statement on the future of the hospital.

The Southern Health Board are considering proposals to transfer some elderly patients from the Bantry area at present being cared for at Clonakilty District Hospital to Bantry Hospital. The facilities for the elderly would be additional to the existing consultant medical and surgical service at Bantry Hospital.
