243 Mr. Taylor asked the Minister for Education if a board of management has been appointed for the regional technical college in Tallaght, Dublin 24; if not, the arrangements which are proposed in this regard; the intended structure of the board; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
A board of management has not been appointed for Tallaght regional technical college.
The composition and appointment of boards of management of regional technical colleges and the process for the appointment of principals to these colleges are being reviewed at present in the context of proposed legislation on the matter. The arrangements which will apply generally shall also be put in place for Tallaght regional technical college.
