On a point of order, is it in order for the Leas-Cheann Comhairle to expel a Member? I thought it was a prerogative of the Ceann Comhairle rather than the Leas-Cheann Comhairle.

The Leas-Cheann Comhairle is carrying out the wishes of this House as he is entitled to do.

In view of the decisions of a recent higher court, has the Minister for Health any plans to make amendments to the existing Family Planning Acts?

Deputy Ferris appreciates that he can ask questions about what is promised. He cannot ask what is the intention of any Minister at this stage.
