83 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Energy if the allocation to Coillte Teoranta for the acquisition of land for forestry purposes for the coming year has been reduced from £12 million in 1991 to £7 million in 1992; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The level of Exchequer equity provided to Coillte Teoranta for capital development works, which includes land purchase, relating to their afforestation programme was £13 million in 1991. The allocation for 1992 will be announced in the context of the Government's public capital programme.
