79 Mr. E. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for the Environment the current position regarding the provision of necessary funding to an urban district council (details supplied) in County Cork with a view to providing an adequate water supply to an estate in the town. [13117/96]

Contract documents are being prepared by the urban district council for this scheme. When these are received in my Department, they will be technically examined and a decision on their approval will be made taking account of the high level of existing demand for funding.
