237 Mr. J. Walsh asked the Minister for the Marine the amount of money allocated by his Department or by any body under the aegis of his Department to the Institute of European Affairs in each of the years 1995 and 1996. [14714/96]
No moneys were allocated by my Department to the Institute for European Affairs for the years 1995 and 1996.
The Department of the Marine is a corporate member of the institute, and has paid a £1,000 membership fee for each of the years in question.
Payments made by the semi-State agencies under the aegis of my Department are a matter for the agencies in question.
